Christopher Schmidt
Christopher Schmidt was born and raised in North Dakota. A graduate of Yale University, he has worked as a graphic designer at The New Yorker and Nerve, and has published journalism in The Village Voice, The New York Observer, and Utne Reader. His poems and essays have appeared in Tin House, Court Green, Canadian Poetry, and La Petite Zine. He is currently a student at the City University of New York Graduate Center, where he is completing a dissertation on twentieth-century poetry entitled Waste Matters. He lives in Brooklyn.
